I’m late, I’m late; for a very important date

Hello, November! I can’t believe how fast 2016 is zooming by. Friends are getting married and popping babies left and right, and I am just hereĀ breaking out and popping zits. Yes, I know I should not be doing that, but sometimes I just can’t help it šŸ˜. Especially if it’s one of those gross ones.

Remember how I said I missed how my skin looked last year? Yeah. I am now back using the same skincare line that I think (Ā šŸ™šŸ¼Ā hopefully!) made my skin a whole lot better. What is it, you ask? Well, it is none other than the b.liv skincare line.

Nature Republic Ginseng Royal Silk Essence & Watery Cream – Review

Earlier this year, Mama travelled to Korea for a bit of sightseeing, and also to visit my BIL. She had a jolly good time, and was introduced to Korean skincare and makeup. She tried it, and loved it so much, that she bought us each a set of skincare as souvenir.

I haveĀ never tried or thought about trying a Korean skincare line, but I know they are very popular and well-loved, especially amongst our Korean-obsessed youths. K-pop, K-drama, Korean food (totes love this), Korean makeup, skincare and trends.

Mama gave me a set of skincare from Nature Republic. The sets consisted of two full-sized items, and four mini / sample / travel sized items. I had done brief review and sort of a first impressions previously, but now I am ready to share my thoughts on how it worked on my skin over the course of two, maybeeee three months that I used it.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask – Review

When you have super oily skin with large pores and tonnes of congestion, your basic three-step skincare regime just won’t do. I’ve been extra diligent with my skincare the older I get; adding in serums, masks and facial sessions when I can. Even if I don’t go to a specialist for a facial, I will try my best to at least have it done once or twice a month at home.

A Lush Haul

It’s good to have friends that travels frequently. Case in point: Arina. My good friend and colleague had travelled to UK to sort some wedding related stuff, and she graciously offered to help me buy a few Lush goodies.

I have neverĀ purchased any before, neither have I taken a whiff of these deliciously scented bath goods, so I had to rely on the scent description and ingredients listed on their site. So that was a bit of a gamble. Luckily for me, all of the items IĀ received smelledĀ amazing. I had kept them in my wardrobe previously, and the scent would permeate my entire room – leaving a trail of sweet floral scent.
